Turkmenistan is increasing cultural cooperation with the United States


The National Museum of Asian Art of the Smithsonian Institution in the USA is ready to establish cooperation with Turkmen museums to develop this field of culture in Turkmenistan, improve the professionalism of employees and preserve historical heritage.
This became known after the meeting of the director of the museum, Chase Robinson, with representatives of the Turkmen delegation who arrived in the United States for annual foreign policy consultations, the website of the Turkmen Foreign Ministry reports.
In addition, to increase humanitarian cooperation, the head of the Turkmen diplomatic department Rashid Meredov and Assistant Secretary of State Elizabeth Horst signed a memorandum of understanding in the field of education.
At the same time, cooperation in the field of security, economy, ecology, culture and education were noted as important areas of bilateral partnership.
