A debate tournament on the peculiarities of vaccination was held in Turkmenistan
Within the framework of the European Immunization Week, the WHO Country Office in Turkmenistan organized a debate tournament on the peculiarities of immunoprophylaxis among students of the Myrat Garryev State Medical University.
The students answered various questions on the effectiveness of immunization in the prevention of infectious diseases, which is the main factor in reducing morbidity and easing the severity of the clinical course. Future doctors have demonstrated an appropriate level of knowledge in this field.
The students showed brilliant awareness of the importance of immunization as one of the key components of primary health care in the competition of written works. They shared their vision of why it is necessary to receive preventive vaccinations, what consequences refusal of vaccination may entail.
The winners were awarded with memorable prizes.
The European Immunization Week, which is a global campaign, will last until April 30.
