A festival of aviation and space technologies is being held in Turkey
The TEKNOFEST Aviation and Space Technology Festival has opened its doors to science and technology lovers for the seventh time in Istanbul at the Ataturk Airport, the Turkish Anadolu news agency reports.
TEKNOFEST annually gathers millions of people to participate in technology contests, aviation shows, concerts, as well as discussions on various topics.
The prize fund in this year's TEKNOFEST contests is over 13 million Turkish liras. More than 30 million Turkish liras will be allocated for financial support of the participants. Competitions are held in such categories as smart transport, innovations in the field of biotechnology, development of microchips, vertical landing rockets, educational technologies.
The partners of the event will deploy their stands at the festival site to demonstrate their own developments and products. TEKNOFEST will continue until May 1.
