TNC invites Ashgabat residents to a new classical music concert


The Turkmen National Conservatory named after Maya Kuliyeva invites Ashgabat residents to a classical music concert this Saturday, December 21. The musical programme “A New Introduction to the Classics” will be performed by young conservatory teachers - pianist Bahar Annadurdiyeva, laureate of international competitions, violinist Bahram Doliyev, favorite performer of classical music lovers and conductor Tahir Atayev having rapidly won the love of the public, who will play the viola.
Young but already eminent musicians will present the timeless masterpieces by Pyotr Tchaikovsky, Henryk Wieniawski, Johann Sebastian Bach, George Enescu and Henri Vieuxtemps.
In instrumental music, the works by the great composers represent the era of Baroque and romanticism. These are notable for outstanding lyricism, aesthetics and dramaturgy. Therefore, listeners will have the opportunity to feel all the musical energy of the unfading classics of the 20th century.
German composer Johann Sebastian Bach once said: “The purpose of music is to touch the hearts”. It is impossible to disagree with his statement, since music is such a kind of art that reflects the whole life palette with the help of sounds and awakens a sense of unity in people.
