Turkmenistan will bring stable gas inflow from the Galkynysh field to 200 billion per year

The stable inflow of natural gas from the Galkynysh supergiant field is planned to increase to 200 billion cubic meters per year. Achieving such an indicator is possible with the implementation of all 7 stages of operation.
This was stated by the head of the laboratory of the Natural Gas Research Institute of the state concern "Turkmengaz" Irina Luryeva at a visiting forum on attracting investments in the energy sector of Turkmenistan in Dubai.
"The field is at the stage of pilot operation and in the future the rate of gas extraction will increase. <...> During the period of continuous selection, it is planned that annual gas production throughout the field will reach about 200 billion cubic meters," Luryeva said.
In her presentation, she noted that the phased development of the field will allow regulating the investment flow, as well as taking into account all the technical capabilities of wells.
