The national team of Turkmenistan won bronze at the Kazan Hockey Cup

Turkmen hockey players have become bronze medalists of the first international hockey tournament between Islamic countries, the Turkmenistan Hockey Federation told ORIENT.

In the game for the second place, the Turkmen lost to the representatives of Kazakhstan with a score of 5:1.

"It was a good game in which we fought till the end. The division in which our national team played was the strongest in terms of level," commented the results of the tournament, hockey player of the Turkmen national team Ahmet Gurbanov, who was awarded the "Best Player of the Division".

The Kazan Hockey Cup standings were headed by the Tatarstan national team.
