OGT 2023 participants visited the Museum of the Future: the time machine or Noah's Ark of the XXI century?

To make a trip to the future on a "time machine" - this opportunity was presented to the delegates of the International Forum on Attracting Investments in the Energy Sector of Turkmenistan, who gathered in Dubai, UAE. The futuristic virtual walk has become a vivid prologue to the discussions about the energy of tomorrow, which will begin on Wednesday, April 26, at Hyatt Regency Creek Heights.
Moreover, before that, on Tuesday, a tour of one of the most popular museums in the world, which represents Dubai's view on the transformation of the world economy for the next 50 years, was organized for the Turkmen delegation, including high-ranking leaders of the oil and gas sector, and other participants of the forum.

The construction of the Museum of the Future was one of the most long awaited in the Arab metropolis, whose urban landscape is formed by expressive diagrams of skyscrapers. Its architecture also rhymes with the idea of the concept of this Museum, which allowed this object to enter the world ranking of the most beautiful modern construction solutions in the world.

The excursion to this Museum was undertaken by the organizers of the investment forum for a reason: striving for the future, the use of green technologies and the harmonious development of all economic elements in a single information system, where Internet things are commonplace, and ahead - research in the field of human dimension are also in the focus of attention of the government of Turkmenistan.

Interactive exhibits of the Museum project considerations about the prospects for the development of the energy sector, which, from the position of Turkmenistan, should be transformed with the transition to more environmentally friendly fuels. The visitors got acquainted with the new reality and got in touch with the future world of innovation.

The museum is divided into levels, and expositions on topics that include space exploration, alternative energy sources, modern medicine and recreational prospects, conservation of ecology, gene pool and species diversity, development of progressive modes of transport.

The museum is viewed from top to bottom, so first you need to take a large elevator, and it turns out to be a real "time capsule", thanks to a space video show that is shown on the ceiling and "windows" of the spaceship elevator.

The exposition begins with space technologies. In addition, the Emirates has its own interplanetary station, launched in the summer of 2020, as part of the Mars exploration program. The station entered the orbit of Mars in February 2021, it is called "Al Amal", or "Hope".

The next level below is called the "Repository of Life", it is dedicated to ecology and nature. Here, life in all its manifestations is shown throughout the entire space, and its most diverse forms are "sealed" inside illuminated transparent vessels, as a reminder to us of the inexhaustible creative power of nature and at the same time its fragility and infinite value.
The impressive exposition of this hall can be compared with the digital edition of Noah's Ark in its more extensive version.

The place of special attention of the Turkmen delegation was the hall "Tomorrow today". It tells about the solution of pressing technological problems of cities, presents a vision of the future of urban mobility, created with the help of intelligent systems of a more efficient, safe and sustainable space.

All this is consonant with the tasks of the development of the Turkmen city of state significance – Arkadag. This is the territory of the "City of the Future", which operates completely offline, all its systems are digitized, and services are placed on information platforms. It is on these principles that Arkadag, the first "smart city" of Turkmenistan, is being built. The "reconciliation" of the innovations used in the new city with the expositions of this Museum territory was successful.

Simulations of the "Life of the Future" were transferred to the world of perfect artificial intelligence, advanced medicine and healthcare. All innovative solutions should somehow be practically applied and monetized, for this purpose a series of meetings "Business of the Future" is provided here, where it was possible to get acquainted with how new solutions will affect the conduct of business.

In this context, Turkmenistan's development strategy is noteworthy, based on the consistent shift of the initiative from the state holder of capital to the private one. Such a transition is possible thanks to the funds received from energy exports, and in order to diversify and modernize these industries, it is necessary to integrate into them more knowledge-intensive and productive technologies that meet global environmental standards.
This is what the excursion is designed for – the study of the latest word of science and technology with what is already being used or will be used in Turkmenistan.
