Plums from oil production in Goturdepe began to be used for the production of iodine


Plums which are formed on the surface of the oldest Turkmen oil field Goturdepe as a result of oil production began to be used for the production of iodine, the Neutral Turkmenistan newspaper reports.
The waters, which, according to the results of technical analysis after samples in laboratories show positive results, are sent to the iodine plant for further operation.
The Goturdepe field is the first to be exploited on an industrial scale in the country. At the moment, it unites 15 wells, 5 of which were drilled and developed by specialists of Yug-Neftegaz Private Limited.
Recently, colleagues of Turkmen drillers commissioned another well number 253 and handed it over to the local field administration.
