The British consulting company Gaffney, Cline & Associates is conducting an audit of the Galkynysh gas field located in the Mary region of Turkmenistan. This is reported by Trend with reference to the company's project management director Drew Powell.
GaffneyCline is working within the framework of a project with the state corporation "Turkmengeologiya" and the state concern "Turkmengaz", Powell said. Together with Turkmengaz, work is also underway to attract foreign direct investment and technical audit of gas processing facilities.
"Today we are working with the state concern Turkmengaz, and we are also in the process of starting work with the state concern Turkmennebit," Powell added.
