The CIS promotes natural gas as a motor fuel


In Moscow, the second meeting of the expert group on the development and promotion of the use of natural gas as a motor fuel for vehicles of the CIS member states under the Commonwealth Council for Industrial Policy took place.
The meeting was organized at the site of the III All-Russian Gas Vehicle Forum and was dedicated to the promotion of compressed natural gas as a motor fuel in the new market conditions. The experts also discussed the economic, environmental and social aspects of the use of the North-South multimodal international transport corridor (ITC), existing infrastructure barriers and proposals for overcoming them in order to further develop this direction.
Within the framework of the NGV Forum, an exhibition of technologies and vehicles running on gas fuel was launched.
Natural gas (methane) is the most economical and environmentally friendly motor fuel.
