Private poultry farms of Lebap have doubled the production of chicken eggs

Entrepreneurs of the Lebap region in the first quarter of 2023 increased egg production twice compared to last year, bringing this figure to 2 million 770 thousand units, Turkmenistan newspaper reports.
During the same period last year, private poultry farms received 1 million 279 thousand eggs. Thus, the absolute growth is 216%. The total capacity of the enterprises is designed to produce an average of 23.1 million eggs per year.
The major part of production is in the Charjev district.
In total, there are 7 large private poultry farms in the Eastern region.
