World oil prices are falling on Thursday after a two-day increase, according to trading data.

As of morning, the price of June futures for Brent crude oil is reduced by 0.38% - to $87 per barrel, May futures for WTI - by 0.32%, to $82.99.

In the previous two days, oil has been rising in price. The price of Brent rose by 3.59%, WTI - by 4.36%.

Markets evaluate data from the US Department of Energy on oil reserves in the country. Commercial oil reserves in the US (excluding the strategic reserve) for the week ended on April 7 increased by 0.6 million barrels, or 0.1%, to 470.5 million barrels. Analysts, on the contrary, expected a decrease in stocks by 0.6 million barrels.

At the same time, the US strategic oil reserve fell by 1.6 million barrels over the week, to 369.6 million barrels, the lowest level since November 1983.
