Military-tactical exercises to be held in Turkmenistan
Secretary of the State Security Council, Minister of Defense of Turkmenistan Begench Gundogdyev reported to the President, Supreme Commander of the Armed Forces Serdar Berdimuhamedov on the ongoing preparations for military tactical exercises.
Speaking at a meeting of the State Security Council on Thursday, the head of the Defense Ministry also reported on the transfer to the reserve of military personnel on conscription and the next call of citizens for military service in April-June, in accordance with the decree of the President of Turkmenistan.
The Supreme Commander emphasized Turkmenistan's commitment to its exclusively defensive Military Doctrine and instructed to carefully prepare for the upcoming exercises.
The previous military exercises were held in Turkmenistan in October, on the territory of the Maritime Training Center in the Balkan region.
