Deputy Foreign Minister of Turkmenistan Vepa Hadjiev met with Pakistani Foreign Minister Hina Rabbani Khar to discuss a wide range of issues, including holding a meeting of the Turkmen-Pakistani intergovernmental commission in the near future.

The talks were held within the framework of the 4th meeting of the foreign ministers of the neighboring countries of Afghanistan, which was held in Samarkand, the website of the Foreign Ministry of Turkmenistan reports.

The sides noted the great prospects for cooperation in the energy and transport sectors, as well as the achieved level of partnership in the political and diplomatic sphere. The importance of implementing the construction of the TAPI gas pipeline and TAP power lines was highlighted.
