Turkmen journalists were introduced to digital journalism trends
A two-day training session for journalists organized by the OSCE Center in Ashgabat has ended in Turkmenistan.
The training course is aimed at using platforms to create digital content while covering issues of public interest.
The speakers of the training were international experts Marek Beckerman from the UK and Jakub Parusinski from Poland, who introduced representatives of local media to the main components of digital content.
The experts analyzed the role of "public interest" and its influence on the media through the formation of the right search for an information occasion, focused on the features of the information space in the digital era, noting the importance of the transition from print journalism to digital.
Topics related to the basics and principles of creating news information on the social media platform, the impact of multimedia content on audience engagement were touched upon.
The educational process was accompanied by an analysis of materials, group assignments and practical exercises.
