The Migration Service of Turkmenistan will develop cooperation with the IOM Development Fund
The State Migration Service of Turkmenistan held talks with the representative of the Development Fund of the International Organization for Migration Alessia Castelfranco.
The parties discussed the prospects of cooperation within the framework of the project "Inclusion of the relationship between migration, environment and climate change in national plans related to climate change," the website of the Turkmen Migration Service reports.
This project aims to develop plans for adaptation to climate change and to include environmental issues in the agenda of regional policy. It also includes the exchange of experience in the field of eco-solutions.
The State Migration Service of Turkmenistan and the IOM Development Fund have agreed to hold joint events for the further development of relevant areas.
