The Heads of State and Government express their condolences to the leadership of Turkmenistan
A telephone conversation took place today between President of Turkmenistan Serdar Berdimuhamedov and President of Tajikistan Emomali Rahmon.
The Head of Tajikistan expressed deep condolences and sincere support in connection with the death of the grandmother of the President of Turkmenistan, mother of the national leader, Chairman of the Halk Maslahaty Gurbanguly Berdimuhamedov – Ogulabat Berdimuhamedova and conveyed words of sincere sympathy on behalf of the Tajik people.
Noting that the life path of Ogulabat-eje is an example for the younger generation as a support and honor of a family devoted to the Fatherland, native hearth, Emomali Rahmon wished the President of Turkmenistan, as well as the chairman of the Halk Maslahaty, relatives and friends fortitude in this difficult time, the Turkmen state media reported.
Serdar Berdimuhamedov thanked the head of Tajikistan for the support shown during these difficult days due to bereavement.
Earlier, Rahmon sent telegrams of condolences to Serdar Berdimuhamedov and Gurbanguly Berdimuhamedov.
A letter of condolence addressed to the national leader of the Turkmen people, the President of the Russian Federation Vladimir Putin sent to Chairman of the Halk Maslahaty: "Please accept my deep condolences on the death of your mother. I sincerely wish you and all your family members mental fortitude in the face of this heavy, irreparable loss."
President of Uzbekistan Shavkat Mirziyoyev sent a telegram with words of sympathy to the leadership of Turkmenistan. "We express our deep condolences and sincere sympathy to you and your family members, as well as to the fraternal Turkmen people in these sad and difficult days," the message reads.
UAE President Sheikh Mohamed bin Zayed Al Nahyan has sent a message of condolences to President of Turkmenistan Serdar Berdimuhamedov on the death of his grandmother.
Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, Vice President and Prime Minister of the UAE and Ruler of Dubai, Sheikh Mansour bin Zayed Al Nahyan, Vice President, Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of the Presidential Court, also sent similar messages to President Berdimuhamedov.
The UAE leaders expressed their condolences and sympathy to the chairman of the Halk Maslahaty Gurbanguly Berdimuhamedov in connection with the death of his mother.
