Chinese Foreign Minister Qin Gang confirmed his participation in the 4th meeting of foreign ministers of Afghanistan's neighboring countries, which will be held on April 12-13 in Samarkand, the Chinese news agency SCMP reports.

It is noted that on Thursday, the head of the Chinese Foreign Ministry will discuss with his colleagues from Turkmenistan, Uzbekistan, Iran, Pakistan, Russia and Tajikistan the situation in Afghanistan.

The neighboring countries will discuss humanitarian issues, the resolution of the internal political situation and the stabilization of the socio-economic situation in Afghanistan. The first such meeting was held in October 2021.
