Saudi Arabia highly appreciated the infrastructure of the city of state significance of Arkadag, the website of the Foreign Ministry of Turkmenistan reports.
This was made during the meeting of the Ambassador of Turkmenistan to the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia Orazmukhammad Charyev with the Minister of Local Self-Government, Rural Affairs and Housing of the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia Majid bin Abdullah bin Hamad Al-Hokaylo.
The Turkmen diplomat told the high-ranking guest about the new city of Arkadag, which is based on the concept of a "smart" city.
The parties considered the prospects for further cooperation between Turkmenistan and Saudi Arabia in the field of housing construction and urban development using environmentally friendly materials and smart technologies.
In this regard, the expediency of creating a special working group for the exchange of experience in this area was noted.
