Where will Turkmen athletes perform in December?

The last month of 2019 will be especially rich in travelling for Turkmen athletes to participate in international tournaments and training camps abroad. On December 10, the National Futsal team of Turkmenistan consisting of 16 athletes will go to the training camp in Croatia. Until December 16, they will train in the Croatian town of Porec under the guidance of Robert Grdovic. They will also play two friendly matches – against the Chinese national team and the Croatian team “Pula”. On December 17, the International Futsal Tournament will start with the participation of the Turkmen team and the national teams of San Marino, Bosnia and Herzegovina, Montenegro and China. Schedule of matches: Turkmenistan – San Marino on December 17, Turkmenistan – Bosnia and Herzegovina on December 19, Turkmenistan – Montenegro on December 20, Turkmenistan – China on December 21. In competitions for the Cup of the International Weightlifting Federation which will start on December 10 in the Chinese city of Tianjin, Turkmenistan will be represented by 6 athletes. The championship of the silver category will last until December 13. Recently, Turkmen weightlifters successfully competed in an International Tournament in Turkey, where they won 13 medals. Karate athletes will have two tournaments at once. The first of them is the final stage of the Karate1-Youth Premier League, held by the World Karate Federation. The competition, which will be held from 13 to 15 December in Venice, will be attended by the best athletes from around the world at the age of 12-17 years. Turkmenistan delegates 9 karate athletes. As the National Karate-do Federation comments, the main hopes are put upon Davud Nazmuradov, Rustem Puhanov, Shahan Gylychdurdyev, Agajan Charyev. The second tournament is the Central Asian Karate-do Championship among adults, which will be held in Aktau from 13 to 15 December. Eighteen Turkmen fighters will go there. It should be noted that karate-do is included in the Youth Olympics 2022 program in Dakar. Turkmen judoists will compete in the International Tournament “Qingdao Masters 2019” in China. The championship will last from 12 to 14 December.
