The heads of Turkmenistan and Iran held a telephone conversation
The Presidents of Turkmenistan and Iran - Serdar Berdimuhamedov and Seyed Ebrahim Raisi – had a telephone conversation on Friday. The leaders of state exchanged congratulations on the occasion of the Month of Oraza and discussed issues of bilateral dialogue.
The heads of Turkmenistan and Iran discussed the promotion of the agreements reached during Serdar Berdimuhamedov's visit to Tehran in June 2022. The commitment to cooperation with reputable international organizations, firstly with the UN, etc., was confirmed.
During the telephone conversation, the presidents discussed the possibilities of building up partnership in the fuel and energy, transport and communication complexes and agriculture.
Serdar Berdimuhamedov and Ebrahim Raisi spoke in favor of expanding partnership in the fields of science and education, culture and art, and sports.
