The start of the Football League of Turkmenistan: who will FC Arkadag play against
The Turkmenistan Football Championship starts on April 14 with the participation of nine clubs. Kopetdag and Shagadam will meet in the opening match of the tournament.
The next day, three more matches will take place: the capital's Altyn Asyr will host Nebitchi, Ashgabat will go to visit Mary's Merv, and last season's champion Ahal will meet Energetik on its field.
According to the rules of the tournament, in each round one of the participants of the championship will alternately skip the meeting, thereby having a match in reserve. As ORIENT was told in the Football Federation of Turkmenistan, FC Arkadag turned out to be in the first round. The new team will play its debut match on April 18 in the second round against Merv.
FC Arkadag will enter the fight for the National Cup on April 22 with a duel with Mary's Energetik.
According to representatives of the Federation, a transfer window will open in the near future, during which players will transfer from club to club to participate in upcoming competitions.
