The XIV volume of Gurbanguly Berdimuhamedov's book "Medicinal Plants of Turkmenistan" has been published in English, the Neutral Turkmenistan newspaper reports.
The scientific and encyclopedic work contains information about the beneficial properties and therapeutic effectiveness of plants growing on the territory of Turkmenistan. It provides information about the distribution area of plants, many of which are endemic, their biological characteristics, natural reserves and chemical composition.
The book also contains recipes for the preparation of medicinal drinks, a dictionary of names of medicinal plants and a calendar of their collection.
The publication of the book in English is intended to deepen interstate cooperation in the humanitarian, scientific and educational spheres.
