Turkish Airlines passengers will be able to exchange free messages in the sky via popular messengers

A new Internet service will be available on Turkish Airlines (THY) international flights from April - free messaging via popular messengers WhatsApp, Messenger, iMessage and similar applications.
The flagship of Turkey's civil aviation introduces an innovation on its international routes – passengers will be able to exchange SMS for free and unlimited during flights, the Turkish Anadolu agency reports with reference to the THY press service.
Since 2011, Turkish Airlines has been providing its passengers with high-quality Internet during the flight and is constantly improving the service in this direction. "Messaging with family and friends will allow passengers to feel close to them even in the sky," said Bilal Ekshi, CEO of THY.
