The Turkmen Ministry of Health supported the activities of WHO
Turkmenistan expresses its full support for the activities of the World Health Organization, thanks the WHO leadership and staff for their dedicated and professional work. Ashgabat will continue to work closely with this structure and provide assistance to it.
This statement was made by the Ministry of Health and Medical Industry of Turkmenistan on April 7, World Health Day. The text of the message was distributed by the country's Foreign Ministry.
As noted in the statement, Turkmenistan's efforts in the field of healthcare have also been appreciated by WHO and the Regional Office for Europe, as evidenced by numerous international certificates.
In the publication, the Ministry of Health also stressed that at the moment all the necessary infrastructure has been created in the country and official Ashgabat is successfully cooperating with international organizations within the framework of programs for the protection of motherhood and childhood, disease prevention.
Turkmenistan attaches great importance to the modernization of the national health system. For this purpose, significant funds are allocated from the state budget of the country.
