"Smart" devices in the city of Arkadag will be connected using the latest data transmission protocol

Turkmenaragatnashyk agency is carrying out large-scale work to implement the concepts of "smart city" and "smart house" in the city of Arkadag, the institution told ORIENT.
Thus, the Agency has introduced equipment in the city that works on the basis of the modern wireless communication protocol "LoRaWAN". This technology has gained significant popularity in recent years due to its ability to provide reliable communication between devices with low energy consumption.
LoRaWAN is used in smart cities to monitor air quality, traffic and parking. Technology allows cities to optimize their resources and improve the quality of life of citizens. In smart homes, it serves to monitor and control various devices, including lighting and heating. The technology allows homeowners to remotely control their devices and optimize energy consumption.

The Turkmenaragatnashyk Agency also purchased equipment for monitoring the consumption of electricity, hot and cold water, as well as natural gas in the smart home. It should be noted that active work is currently underway to put this equipment into operation in all regions of the country.
Test work is also underway to digitalize the control of electricity consumption, hot and cold water, as well as gas by various departments and organizations of the city.
A mobile application will be developed with the help of which residents of the city will be able to make online payments for utilities, leave applications and receive all the necessary information.
