The current state of cooperation and prospects for further partnership were discussed during the meeting by representatives of the State Customs Service of Turkmenistan with a delegation of the United Nations Office on Drugs and Crime (UNODC). The delegation of the UNODC was represented by Fyodor Klimchuk, Deputy Director of the Department of Policy Analysis and Public Relations of the organization, and Igor Kondratiev, Deputy Head of the Section on Joint Financing and Partnerships.

The parties reviewed the progress made in the implementation of joint projects in the field of container traffic control, establishing a system of interconnection of port control groups.

The negotiators also touched upon issues related to the project to open a new Port Control Group on the basis of the customs post "Farap Avtoyollary", located in the Lebap region.
