Turkmenistan and Japan resume exchange of experience in the field of seismology

The program on the exchange of experience in the field of seismology between Turkmenistan and Japan, which was interrupted due to the global pandemic, has been resumed again. In early April, seismologist Iseki Shinichi arrived in Ashgabat, the Japanese diplomatic mission in Turkmenistan reports.

The scientist paid a visit to Turkmenistan in the framework of cooperation with the Scientific Research Institute of Seismology and Atmospheric Physics of the Turkmen Academy of Sciences.

Shinichi arrived in Turkmenistan to improve the JICA technical cooperation project, which aims to improve monitoring of possible aftershocks.
