Azerbaijan has abolished the fee for the transportation of flammable materials, the city tax on heavy trucks, reduced fees for crossing the border and increased their limit to 41 tons, the Turkmen Embassy in the republic reports.

Such measures, which came into force as part of the Decree on the introduction of new rules for international road transport, will greatly facilitate the transit of Turkish goods through Azerbaijan to Turkmenistan and the countries of the Middle Corridor.

The document also facilitates cargo transportation to Russia, Uzbekistan, and Kazakhstan.
