Turkmen kick boxers - prize-winners of the world championship in Antalya

Turkmen kick boxers became prize-winners of the world championship of 2019 among men and women which is held in Antalya from November 23 to December 1. The Turkmen national team has gained two medals in the competitions "full-contact". Pygy Silabov became vice-champion in the weight category under 60 kg. The sportsman from Turkmenistan yielded in the final bout to his opponent from Kyrgyzstan, tow-fold world champion and Asia Avazbek Amanbekov. Sportsmen meet not for the first time in the ring. Before Silabov and Amanbekov met in the championship of Asia and Asian indoor and martial arts games. The "bronze" medal was secured for the team by Azat Annaev (under 91 kg). The athlete earlier performed in the weight class 81 kg in competitions К1 ("Kei-One "), - the repeated champion of national and international tournaments, title holder of the world champion of 2010. Honoured coach of Turkmenistan and main instructor of the national team Alexander Snagovsky trained Turkmen kick boxers for the world championship.
