Charitable Foundation named after G. Berdimuhamedov expands its activities
The Gurbanguly Berdimuhamedov Charitable Foundation for Assistance to Children in Need of Guardianship will expand its activities. This applies both to entering the international level of the fund's activities and creating production facilities for the manufacture of medicines and food products for children.
Chairman of the Halk Maslakhaty Gurbanguly Berdimuhamedov said this during a working trip to the city of Arkadag on Saturday, April 1. Here, the Leader of the Nation held a meeting with a number of leaders on organizational issues of the Foundation, which provides assistance to children in need of guardianship named after Gurbanguly Berdimuhamedov.
The Charitable Foundation has already sent humanitarian aid to children affected by the earthquake in Turkey, as well as to children in Ukraine. Such international humanitarian assistance will continue in the future, the head of the Halk Maslakhaty said. He also paid special attention to the medical component of charitable activities, the involvement of experienced doctors and modern technologies, noted the importance of information support for the social mission of the Foundation, which provides support to children in difficult life situations.
The Health and Rehabilitation Center named after Gurbanguly Berdimuhamedov, located in the city of Arkadag, builds its work in close connection with the Foundation, and in this direction it is necessary to strengthen cooperation with the Ministries of Health and the medical industry of the country, the Leader of the Nation noted.
As it was said at the meeting, in addition to the head, his deputy, administrator, accountant and lawyer, the structure of this fund, headquartered in the city of Arkadag, will include a press representative. All of them will work on a voluntary basis.
