A new football club "Arkadag" has appeared in Turkmenistan
At an extraordinary conference of the Football Federation of Turkmenistan (FFT), it was decided to include the newly formed Arkadag football club in the organization.
The meeting also discussed the holding of the championship, the Cup and the tournament with the participation of youth teams.
The football championship of Turkmenistan starts on April 4, 2023.
The tournament will be held in four rounds. Nine clubs will take part in the competition. The capital of the country will be represented by three clubs - "Altyn Asyr", "Kopetdag" and "Ashgabat", the Balkan region - "Shagadam" and "Balkan", the Mary region - "Merv" and "Energetik", the Akhal region - "Akhal", the city of Arkadag - FC “Arkadag”.
The current champion of the country is “Akhal”.
