The school Olympiad in TNIWL determined the best experts of the English language

The Turkmen National Institute of World Languages named after D.Azadi held the first Olympiad in English among schoolchildren of grades 9-11, in which 2,282 students took part.
The competition was held in two stages. The qualifying part was organized in an online format, which helped to maximize the range of potential Olympians. The second tour was attended by 25 best students from all regions of the country and the city of Ashgabat.
Within the walls of the main language university of Turkmenistan, high school students demonstrated their reading skills, and also passed listening and grammar tests.
The level of knowledge and skills was assessed using the Institute's information system with minimal participation of real teachers, which made it possible to make the results of the Olympiad as objective as possible.
The competitions ended with the solemn awarding of the winners and memorable performances by creative associations of students. The students were awarded by members of the Presidium of the university and the Dean's office of the Faculty of English Language and Literature, who expressed the hope that the students would show special interest in entering the main linguistic school of Turkmenistan.
Such an Olympiad is the first, but far from the last. The Institute is looking forward to the students in the framework of the largest and most comprehensive Olympiad in the Russian language, the first round of which has already summed up the results. On May 6, the best students-lovers of the Pushkin language will be determined in the institute building.
Russian Olympiad is notable for the fact that it takes place in the Year of the Russian Language in the CIS countries and in partnership with the Russian House in Ashgabat, which has shown interest in cooperation with the Institute.
