The United Nations Environment Programme (UNEP) has launched the Pipeline of Young Talents program, a new global initiative aimed at increasing the diversity of experiences to address climate change, biodiversity loss, pollution and waste.

The online campaign, in partnership with the United Nations Volunteers Program (UNV), aims to attract young talents from around the world to give them the opportunity to become the environmental leaders of tomorrow.

"This is your chance to help us protect the Earth, an opportunity to help us shape your own future," UNEP Executive Director Inger Andersen said in her video message to potential candidates.

Young people under the age of 33 who have at least three years of work experience can apply. They must have a great desire to work for the benefit of people and the planet.

Applications are accepted until May 15, 2023 on the website unv.org .

Through participation in the program, young people starting their careers will contribute to the achievement of the UNEP mandate. The selected candidates will work at the UNEP headquarters in Nairobi, Kenya. They will have access to various professional development programs.
