Young Turkmen football players take part in an international tournament

The Turkmen team "Altyn Tach", based in Ashgabat, performs at the AFLKids international tournament in Tashkent.

The championship with the participation of 12 teams is held in three age categories - U-10, U11 and U12. The tournament in Tashkent brought together the best youth teams from Turkmenistan, Uzbekistan, Kyrgyzstan, Kazakhstan, Tajikistan and Russia.

According to the rules of the championship, 12 teams of each age category are divided into three quartets. Following the results of three rounds, the teams "Altyn Tach" U11 and "Altyn Tach" U12 reached the playoffs, where they will meet with "Aksu" (Kazakhstan) and "Neftchi" (Uzbekistan), respectively.
