Strong winds and rains are expected in some regions of Turkmenistan
With the arrival of the first days of April, a noticeable cooling is expected on the territory of Turkmenistan, which will occur due to the cold atmospheric front of the cyclone from Iran.
In some regions, strong winds are expected, in places with gusts up to storm values, rains, locally severe thunderstorms, dust storms, the Meteojournal reports.
Ahal region
A decrease in temperature accompanied by precipitation will be observed on April 1 in the Ahal region. Strong winds are expected, in some areas with gusts up to storm values – 18-23 m/s.
If on March 31 there will be sunny weather with temperature values within +31 — +34 degrees, then on April 1, the thermometer columns will drop to +15 — +20 degrees.
Balkan region
A strong wind with gusts up to 13-18 m/s will descend into the Balkan region. Up to 15-30 mm of precipitation is possible. In coastal areas, a sharp cold snap with a decrease in temperature to +8 — +13 degrees.
Dashoguz region
On April 1, a strong wind in the Dashoguz region will reach 13-18 m/s. Rains and thunderstorms are expected.
Lebap region
The wind, sometimes with gusts up to storm values — 17-22 m/s, accompanied by a dust storm, will pass through the Lebap region. Precipitation and a noticeable decrease in temperature are not excluded.
Mary region
A strong wind is possible in the Mary region on April 1, gusts of which will reach a value of 18-23 m/s. During the day, a sharp cold snap and a change in all the main meteorological parameters.
