Turkmenistan's transport potential and investments will be discussed at an international conference in May


On May 3-4, the development of international transportation and transit corridors will be discussed in Ashgabat within the framework of an international conference and exhibition organized by the Agency for Transport and Communications under the Cabinet of Ministers of Turkmenistan and the Turkmen Forum company.
The conference "International Transport and Transit Corridors: Interconnectedness and Development" (ITTC 2023) is aimed at unlocking the transit capabilities of the continent and linking the North-South and West—East corridors with the Chinese initiative "One Belt— One Road".
The conference will be attended by high-ranking officials of Turkmenistan and international companies. A record number of participants and signing of agreements and memoranda are expected during the meetings. Such international giants as Airbus, Boeing, Cargo Lux, Fly Dubai, Vitol, Dragon Oil, etc. will take part in the work.
In addition, representatives of the International Air Transport Association, the International Chamber of Shipping, the UN International Road Transport Union and international financial institutions such as the World Bank and the Asian Development Bank will arrive in Turkmenistan.
As part of the series of events, the exhibition "Transport and Logistics" is planned, which will be attended by manufacturers, insurance companies, suppliers and dealers of motor vehicles.
The conference is designed to fully unleash the potential of Turkmenistan in the field of transport and promote investment attraction.
