The state enterprise "Turkmenulaggozegchilik" has announced discounts on registration of permits for carriers of transit cargo in multimodal transportation. We are talking not only about "permits" (permits), but also the international waybill of the SMR for vehicles transporting transit goods from the railway station or cargo yard of Turkmenistan to other countries.

According to the Association "Turkmen Logistics", prices were reduced for multimodal transit transportation of goods arriving by sea or railway transport to the cargo yard or to the first railway station on the territory of Turkmenistan.

From now on, the cost of registration of the SMR will be 100 manats, the same amount will have to be paid for a permit for truck owners to transport goods from third countries to Turkmenistan and load cargo onto a vehicle on Turkmen territory.

Earlier, Turkmenistan reduced fees from foreign vehicles arriving at railway stations or freight yards of Turkmenistan to unload transit cargo from $250 to $100. Such discount measures will allow carriers to make more active use of the possibilities of railway terminals and freight yards on the Turkmen side of the border for transshipment of cargo from one mode of transport to another.
