Days of Culture of Turkmenistan will be held in the Republic of Korea at the end of March


From March 29 to March 31, two cities of the Republic of Korea — Seoul and Yijongbu — will host the Days of Culture of Turkmenistan.
The program includes an international conference dedicated to the 300th anniversary of the birth of the great Turkmen poet Magtymguly Pyragy, an exhibition of folk decorative and applied arts, as well as a screening of Turkmen films.
The program of the film screening will include a full-length feature film Istärin based on the work of the same name by Magtymguly Pyragy, created by the creative association "Turkmenfilm", and the film At-Myrat, which tells about the comprehension of one young man the basics of horse breeding.
On the occasion of the cultural event, a gala concert will be held, which will acquaint the Korean public with the works of Turkmen musical culture, original dance traditions and performing skills of vocalists.
The Days of Turkmen Culture in Korea will end with a joint concert of masters of arts of the two countries.
The Days of Culture of Turkmenistan in the Republic of Korea are of great importance for strengthening friendly relations between the two states and expanding cultural exchange. Upcoming events in Seoul and Yijeongbu allow residents of the republic to join the culture of Turkmenistan and learn a lot about the country.
