President Serdar Berdimuhamedov received credentials from the Ambassador of Israel
President Serdar Berdimuhamedov received credentials from newly appointed Israeli Ambassador Ismail Khaldi. During the meeting on Tuesday, the diplomat also verbally conveyed greetings from Israeli President Yitzhak Herzog and Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu.
During the audience, opportunities for expanding interstate dialogue, primarily on the trade and economic track were considered. In this context, the head of Turkmenistan spoke in favor of organizing business forums and other business events with the participation of representatives of state bodies and business communities of the two countries.
Agriculture was singled out among the topical aspects of the partnership. In particular, it was noted that Turkmenistan is interested in studying Israel's best practices in the agro-industrial sector of the agro-industrial complex, transferring technologies for efficient water use and desalination.
The President and the Ambassador paid attention to cultural and humanitarian ties. It was about organizing cross Days of Culture, attracting representatives of the two countries to participate in scientific, educational forums and creative competitions, realizing the tourism potential of Turkmenistan and Israel in joint projects.
