The Ambassador of Turkmenistan to China discussed cooperation with the rector of the Chinese oil University
The Ambassador of Turkmenistan to China Parakhat Durdiyev met with the Rector of the China University of Petroleum Wu Xiaolin in Beijing.
Noting the dynamic development of strategic relations between the two states, the Turkmen diplomat spoke about certain areas of the country's domestic and foreign policy.
The head of the diplomatic mission stressed the importance of implementing extensive state programs in Turkmenistan, pointing out the importance of training personnel for the fuel and energy complex of the country.
In turn, Wu Xiaolin spoke about her intention to celebrate the 70th anniversary of the founding of the university with the participation of representatives of some states, including Turkmenistan.
The Head of the International Department of the University, Ms. Yan Wei, expressed her readiness to visit Turkmenistan in order to discuss the continuation of cooperation in expanding the range of educational programs provided.
In addition, the China University of Petroleum is ready to resume holding joint events with the Embassy of Turkmenistan in China.
During the visit to the Chinese Petroleum University, representatives of the Turkmen Embassy met with students studying at this university. At the meeting, the head of the diplomatic mission, having familiarized himself with the conditions of study and life of students, introduced the responsible diplomats of the embassy for youth work to the students.
At the end of the meeting, the Ambassador of Turkmenistan to the People's Republic of China presented the book of Chairman of the Halk Maslahaty of Turkmenistan Gurbanguly Berdimuhamedov "Traditions of Turkmen Statehood", translated into Chinese.
