Bidding on SCRMET: technical sulfur and jet fuel were in high demand


On Tuesday, March 28, 10 deals totaling $13.2 million were made at the auctions of the State Commodity and Raw Materials Exchange of Turkmenistan, ORIENT correspondent reports.
Businessmen from the UAE, Turkey and Afghanistan purchased a total of 130 thousand tons of technical granular sulfur for $5.4 million. The cost of each ton of products was estimated at $42.
Representatives of the UAE and Uzbekistan business community purchased 11.5 thousand tons of TC-1 jet fuel for $7.8 million. The price of petroleum product was determined at the level of $678.50 per ton.
