GIZ Agency announces a contest for the best infographic on the topic of saving the Aral Sea

The German agency Deutsche Gesellschaft für Internationale Zusammenarbeit (GIZ) announces a competition for the best infographic on regional cooperation within the framework of the International Fund for Saving the Aral Sea, which is dedicated to the 30th anniversary of IFAS.
The competition is held according to the initiative Green Central Asia: Cross-Border Dialogue on Climate, Environment and Security in Central Asia and Afghanistan.
The works of five winners from five Central Asian countries will be published at international and regional forums.
The infographic itself should demonstrate the level of environmental problems and the danger they pose to life on Earth, as well as how humanity can cope with these challenges and contribute to improving the climate situation on the planet.
Each participant can submit only one work. The winner will be awarded at the UN Water Decade Conference, which will be held in Dushanbe on June 5-7, 2023.
The jury will pay attention to:
– disclosure of the contest topic,
– complexity of the work (diagrams, drawings, etc.),
– creative approach and national character,
– national identity of work,
– compliance with international and ethical standards and the absence of political propaganda.
The author's surname and first name, place of work or study, as well as residential address must be indicated in the work. The works can be sent by e-mail to: mukhabbat.kamalova@giz.de .
