Kuala Lumpur is acquainted with the new Turkmen city of Arkadag
The establishment of ties between the municipalities of the two countries in the field of urban development and improvement of urbanization processes was the main topic of the meeting of the Ambassador of Turkmenistan to Malaysia Muhametniyaz Mashalov with the Mayor of Kuala Lumpur Mahadi Che Ngah.
During the meeting, the Ambassador made a presentation of the new Turkmen city of Arkadag, which is being built based on the "smart city" concept under the patronage of national leader Gurbanguly Berdimuhamedov. The use of environmentally friendly materials in construction, innovative technologies and intelligent systems in the work of the entire urban economy was particularly noted.
The Malaysian side highly appreciated the advanced infrastructure in the city of Arkadag, created taking into account environmental protection, and expressed interest in developing cooperation and exchanging experience between our countries in the field of urban construction and management of "smart" cities.
