UNESCO highly appreciated Turkmenistan's achievements in the field of urban construction
Turkmenistan's Ambassador to France Maksat Charyev discussed practical aspects of cooperation with UNESCO Deputy Director General Firmin Eduard Matoko, the Turkmen diplomatic mission in Paris reports.
During the negotiations, the Turkmen diplomat presented to UNESCO representatives the project of the new city of Arkadag, which is being built taking into account modern environmental requirements and using the latest technologies. Matoko highly appreciated the achievements of the Turkmen side in the field of urban construction.
During the meeting, special attention was drawn to digital technologies used for the construction of the new center of the Akhal region, as well as urban space, which will function on the principle of a "smart" city.
The interlocutors noted the significant level of bilateral cooperation in the field of education, culture, science and technology, as well as innovative planning of the urban environment in Turkmenistan.
