Turkmenistan discussed cooperation with oil and gas companies and universities
In order to discuss issues of further development of cooperation, a working meeting of representatives of the oil and gas industry of Turkmenistan with relevant international companies and universities was held at the Yagshygeldi Kakayev International University of Oil and Gas.
In particular, the meeting was attended by representatives of Turkmennebit State Concern and Turkmengas, employees of the branch of the National Chinese Oil and Gas Corporation in Turkmenistan, representatives of Petronas Charigali Sdn Bhd (Turkmenistan), Dragon Oil Turkmenistan Ltd.
Rectors of Leoben Mining University (Austria), Turin Polytechnic University (Italy), Inha University in Korea, West Saxon University of Applied Sciences Zwickau (Federal Republic of Germany), Ploiesti Oil and Gas University (Romania), Islam Karimov Tashkent State Technical University, Russian State University of Oil and Gas also joined the discussion via video link. NRU named after I. M. Gubkin, Belarusian State Technological University, as well as Polotsk State University named after Euphrosyne of Polotsk.
The participants of the meeting noted that the cooperation of oil and gas universities with specialized companies is of great importance, allowing students to gain practical skills and work experience in a real environment, as well as learn about the latest technologies and innovations in the industry. Companies can also get access to new talents and promising specialists.
The parties reviewed the progress made within the framework of previously signed agreements, and also outlined further steps to develop cooperation.
