The Embassy of Turkmenistan in Austria joined the celebration of Novruz in Vienna
The Embassy of Turkmenistan in Austria and the diplomatic missions of Afghanistan, Azerbaijan, India, Kyrgyzstan, Kazakhstan, Tajikistan, Uzbekistan, Iran, Iraq and the editorial board of the magazine "Society" held a solemn event in honor of the Novruz holiday. This is stated in the press release of the Embassy of Turkmenistan in the Republic of Austria.
The program of events included performances by creative teams and an exhibition of decorative and applied art. The Pavilion of Turkmenistan introduced the guests to Turkmen carpets, national ornaments, dishes of Turkmen cuisine, as well as collections of poems by Magtymguly Pyragy in various languages.
In his speech, Ambassador of Turkmenistan to Austria Khemra Amannazarov recalled that next year Turkmenistan will widely celebrate the 300th anniversary of the great Turkmen poet.
