Turkmenistan increased export of goods to Azerbaijan almost 4 times in January-February

Turkmenistan exported goods to Azerbaijan in January-February 2023 in the amount of $89.5 million, which is almost 4 times higher than last year, Trend reports.

The total volume of trade turnover between the two countries amounted to more than $ 105 million. For comparison, last year for the same period, this figure was at the level of $29.1 million.

In turn, the Republic of Azerbaijan exported goods worth $15.5 million to Turkmenistan, increasing supplies by 2.3 times. Thus, the positive trade balance of Turkmenistan is about $ 74 million.

Starting from January 1, 2023, Turkmenistan will carry out sea feeder container transportation along the Turkmenbashi — Baku — Turkmenbashi route.
