The Turkmen-Tatarstan Business Forum is being held in Ashgabat
The Turkmen-Tatarstan Business Forum opened in Ashgabat. The business event takes place in the conference hall of the Yildiz Hotel. The main focus of the meeting is focused on trade, economic and investment opportunities of Turkmenistan and the Republic of Tatarstan, cooperation in the fields of industry, energy, agriculture and transport.
The delegation of the Russian region is headed by Deputy Prime Minister, Minister of Industry and Trade of the Republic of Tatarstan Oleg Korobchenko. It was composed of vice-Ministers of Agriculture and Food, Education and Science, Youth Affairs, Culture, Health, Vice-President of the Academy of Sciences, heads and representatives of a number of companies. Among them are "KER-Holding", "Tatneft", "KAMAZ", "Kazan Helicopter Plant", "Eidos-Medicine", shipbuilding corporation "Ak Bars", etc.
Tatarstan universities are also represented at a high level - Kazan Tupolev Research University, Kazan National Research Technological University, Kazan (Volga Region) Federal University.
On behalf of the Turkmen side, the meeting is attended by heads and representatives of various departments, including the Chamber of Commerce and Industry, Ministries of Agriculture and Environmental Protection, energy, health and medical industry, construction and architecture, etc., as well as the Turkmen Logistics Association.
Minister of Finance and Economy of Turkmenistan Serdar Joraev and Minister of Industry and Trade of the Republic of Tatarstan Oleg Korobchenko delivered welcoming speeches at the opening of the forum.
The program of the event provides for bilateral meetings between representatives of Turkmenistan and the Republic of Tatarstan and the conclusion of agreements.
