Turkmen fashion designers are invited to the Eurasian Haute couture contest


On November 25-26, the XXII Eurasian High Fashion Contest of the national costume "Ethno-Erato – 2023" will be held in Moscow with the support of the Assembly of the Peoples of Eurasia.
The main goal of this project is to attract young fashion designers and designers and preserve ethnic and cultural diversity, national identity and historical heritage; strengthen the commonwealth and peaceful development of the peoples of Eurasia.
The contest will be held in several categories: the best Slavic costume; the best costume of the peoples of the Caucasus; the best oriental costume; the best costume of the Finno-Ugric peoples; the best costume of the peoples of the North, Siberia and the Far East; ethnic motifs in modern costume; the best costume of the peoples of Africa (new nomination); retro ethnic costume; the best ethnic stage costume in action (choreography, excerpts from the performance, vocal accompaniment, etc.).
Last year, the ethnic fashion festival "Ethno-Erato" was held in Yakutsk. It was attended by more than 200 fashion designers, including from Turkmenistan, Georgia, Mongolia, Kazakhstan and the regions of Russia.
Previously, Korpegul Hudayberdyyeva, who represented Turkmen traditions in clothing, took second place in the nomination "Best Oriental Costume".
